HTMMA Vignette

As you climb up the stairs, you feel like you’re climbing a mountain. You open the doors and you hear the chattering of students. High school, your finally here. You meet some people from your class in the 8th grade, it brings back memories from middle school.
You remember your first day of middle school, your new there. You remember how you sprained your ankle and your first Annual Advisory Kick Off. Everyone in your group was an oomp loompa. In the 7th grade how you got clotheslined in red-rover or all the field trips you went on, and at the end, you always got a “Chocolate Moode” from Jamba Juice. What about the time you went to the end of the year picnic. That day there was a nice cool breeze and there was the smell of the sweet suntan lotion blowing past you. You remember you met your best friend, Alex. There you both talked together as you built a sand fortress to block the oncoming waves. You remember 8th grade retreat and how it was cold and brisk and how your fingers ached from the cold. How you faced your fear of heights going on the ropes course. You remember so many things and you hope to never forget them as you move on through life.

Project Purpose: The purpose of this project is that we learn about different times in history.
Project Requirements: Project requirements are to make my 5W’s of my major event, to write and rewrite my feature article. And represent a final draft of my feature article on media night.
Specific Concepts Learned:
1. One concept that I learned was things about the Blackfeet Indians because I never even knew about the Blackfeet Indians until now.
2. 2. another concept that I learned was how to actually write my won newspapers and it’s pretty easy.
3. Challenges: A challenge I faced in this project was writing the news paper. I overcame this challenge by reading newspapers and learning how to write them.
4. Real –World Significance: The real world significance of this is that both relate to moving around the world.

This is My Querencia enjoy

Querencia
Avada Kedavra! This spell creeps me out because it’s the spell that Voldemort used to kill Harry’s parents with. My querencea is reading and drawing. I feel most comfortable doing these things because when I read I feel like I’m actually in the book. An example would be, as I sat down with Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I could hear the chattering of students as we started to eat pies and drink flagons of pumpkin juice. Then I saw Ron talking with his mouth full again GROSS! When I draw I feel good. I like to draw things like anime characters and animals. On days that I feel depressed I would read or draw and I feel better. I think that these are a good comfort for me.
